Australian Energy Producers and the Minerals Council of Australia have partnered to present the Energy & Minerals Tax Conference — a premier platform for tax professionals to explore current and emerging issues. 

This event offers exclusive insights from policymakers and industry leaders, promoting collaboration, discussion, and professional connections that will shape the sector’s future. Speakers will include representatives from government, including the Australian Tax Office (ATO) as well as from Minsters’ Offices and private industry. 

In addition to plenary speakers and panel discussions, there will be separate streams daily to cater for many aspects of tax relating to the energy and minerals sector.

The conference covers varying topics challenging both sectors, as well as over the horizon issues that will need to be addressed in ensuring that Australia retains its competitive edge in global energy and minerals industries.

Tax specialists and heads of tax across the minerals and energy sectors, including in-house tax professionals, advisors, regulators and government, will deliver two packed days of discussions and workshops, as well as networking opportunities.
